Inspiration for the next generation!
Join us at the annual CEL EXPO and excite students about a sustainable future! The EXPO invites students to envision their role in a green collar world, exposing them to inspiring, real-world examples of sustainable success. Students learn from business leaders, organizations and other schools – all working to provide positive, progressive solutions to today’s most critical issues.
You recognize the urgency of global issues and the importance of sustainable solutions. You may be on the cutting edge of the cutting edge of the green economy, or just getting started. Toot your horn. Share your wisdom, and network with others.
New for EXPO'10:
In partnershp with the Green Schools Coalition of Westchester - CELF's EXPO'10 explored and examined green schools.
Our country will spend hundreds of billions of dollars on school construction over the next two decades. CELF - and our EXPO co-sponor GSCW - believe we need to design the next generation of schools to be healthy places to teach and learn: more affordable, efficient and effective than schools of today. Within these green schools, we envision innovative, creative whole school approaches that support students and a sustainable future.
AT EXPO'10 we celebrate green school successes and introduced green businesses or organizations to all school stakeholders. A wide variety of exhbits, 69 in total, showcased sustainability programs, products or services that support new construction or retrofitting, procurement, transportation, recycling/waste management, sustainable communities and curriuculum.

“Last year we came on a class field trip and we couldn’t wait to come back this year to be exhibitors. It was great showing off our student energy audit and what changes we proposed. And it was very cool to be exhibiting right near the energy experts that did the actual work on our building that made it more efficient.”
