Highland Electric Fleets: Air Quality and Environmental Justice Curriculum
In the fall of 2022, the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced $1 billion in new funding for electric school buses. As part of a larger effort to support schools and districts taking advantage of this opportunity, CELF has worked with Highland Electrict Fleets to launch a package of curricular resources for middle and high school teachers. This rich resource fosters student inquiry around air quality and environmental justice and explores the potential of solutions like electric school buses to reduce air pollution and to support community health.
